Lecture Title

The Infrastructure of Tokenized Investing

Overview

In this session, Jim Hiltner, Head of Business Development at Superstate, will discuss how tokenized securities are modernizing capital markets and enabling more efficient, compliant, and accessible investment opportunities. Drawing on Superstate’s current products, USTB, a tokenized short-duration Treasury fund, and USCC, a tokenized crypto carry fund, Jim will outline how tokenized funds are solving real challenges for institutional investors. He will explore the infrastructure supporting tokenized assets, focusing on the regulatory and technology stack that enable them. Demand is critical and he’ll discuss the growing appetite for these assets from a wide range of institutional funds, crypto-native companies, and protocols, with stablecoins playing a key role in the burgeoning ecosystem.  Additionally, Jim will share how blockchain-based infrastructure could transform public offerings and capital markets, introducing new compliant models for raising capital, reaching a broader investor base, and tracking ownership and corporate actions on-chain.
